I found these tasks very easy because my knowledge on tessalation is pretty good if I say so myself.I know if it’s round you cants tessalate it because there will little gaps between four in the center.
Angles,Probability and circles
Walt: be able to do angles , probability and circles. It has been hard but also fun. I found the circles the hardest because there just hard to get use to but when you know how to do it will probably be easier. Circles are hard because you need to know what each means diameter goes from one side to the other , radius goes half way threw the circle and circumference means the outside of the circle so like the outer shell. probability means the chance of something happening so there is impossible, very unlikely , unlikely , less likely than not, more likely than not. Then we get into the likely they are more likely than not , likely , very likely and then certain they are all the probability. Lastly we have been learning about angle the main they are right angle , acute angle , obtuse angle , full angle , reflex angle and finally straight angle.
Basic facts 2023
Near the start of the year we started to use maths websites that consisted of prototec, quick quiz, number of the day and finally times table games and if you are interested in using any of those I will put them at the end of the blog post.
I enjoyed times table games the most because it had a trophy system. If you got enough trophies you can fill up your trophy cabinet. I am a collecter so I got all the trophies and I completed all the times tables 1 – 12. I still work on the 12 times tables though because am not the best at the 12 times tables to me it’s the hardest times tables.
At the start of the year my goal was to get 100% on stage 6. In the middle of the year I was going for 100% in under 4 mins and on stage 7. Now I am going for 85 – 90% on stage 8. It will be challenging but I know I can do it.
These are the maths games
